Objetivos formativos / Perfil profesional:
The Degree in International Relations at Rey Juan Carlos University has a study plan based on rigorous, quality criteria. This plan has been designed so that the student learns in detail how international relations are developed, what their main political and institutional assumptions are, in what way the international society is regulated, and what aspects have defined its historical evolution.

One fundamental virtue in the design of the study plan in this degree is its multidisciplinary character. Students will study questions relative to international relations from different and complementary perspectives that will permit them to become highly skilled: Law, History, Political Science, Economics, Sociology, Communication, and, of course, the concrete field of International Relations.

Requisitos de acceso:

Access to the official Degree education requires one to be in possession of a high school degree or its equivalent and passing the exam referred to in article 42 of the Organic Law for Universities 6/2001, modified by Law 4/2007, of 12 April, without detriment to other mechanisms of access in accord with current regulation.

Características y aptitudes:

There is no specific restriction from what is required by the law that regulates access to higher education. However, it would be appropriate that the student has specialized in Social Sciences in high school, or else, if the student has had previous university studies, that those studies are related to branches of Law, Political Science, Administration, Economics, History, Communication and Sociology.

Furthermore, for the bilingual study program in International Relations, the student must dominate English.

In addition, this Degree is directed at all those who are interested in the learning of:

- Political, social, economic and judicial relationships in the international sphere.
- The functioning of international political institutions and of interstate relationships.
- The structure and characteristics of the internationalization process and of a globalized society.
- Professional performance in the context of international organisms and non-governmental organization.
