Requisitos de acceso:

Access to official degree studies requires one to possess a high school degree or its equivalent and to pass the exam to which the Organic Law of Universities 6/2001, modified by Law 4/2007 of April 12, Article 42 refers, without detriment to the other access mechanisms provided for by current legislation.

Características y aptitudes:

It is recommended that students show a good disposition for individual work, power of concentration, capacity for autonomous learning, ability to organize time and studies, and responsibility in a teamwork situation. It is also positive for the student to be interested in the area of science and technology, especially in aeronautical and communication technologies. Finally, from the training point of view, it is indispensable for the student to have a good knowledge of the English language and a good basic education in the areas of mathematics and physics.

Mundo laboral / Área de desempeño:

Practically 100 per cent of today´s aeronautical and technical aeronautical engineers are employed in less than half a year after finishing their studies (source: Spanish Aeronautical Engineers Association). To a great extent, this employment takes place in corporations that are very much linked to the contents of the courses taught in the degree. It is calculated that more than 5,000 graduates are employed in Spain, working mainly in the fields of: teaching, research and development, projects development, production, infrastructure management, services, and management and administration. The activity undertaken in the above-mentioned areas generally starts with aspects strongly related to technology and, in most cases, it is later shifted to other aspects more related to technical and organizational management of products, processes, and services, and to commercial aspects. Several studies undertaken in the European context for the coming years (ACARE, ECATA&) show a deficit of professionals in this field.
